Magnetic inserts for separators – custom production

filtration of bulk and liquid products

  • Material: acid-resistant steel AISI 304/316 (seamless).

  • Filling: high-class neodymium magnets (up to 14000 Gs).

  • Mounting: threaded holes M8/M10 at ends (standard).

  • Application: food, chemical, plastics industry.

As a Polish manufacturer, we offer the highest quality magnetic rods (bars), which constitute the heart of every grate separator. They are used to catch iron filings, screws, and other ferromagnetic contaminants from bulk materials (sugar, flour, granulate) and liquids (oils, juices). We make rods of any diameter (standard fi 25mm, 32mm) and length, adapted to your machine.
Magnetic rods are the basic element of the construction of grates and magnetic filters. They consist of a thin-walled acid-resistant tube, in which strong neodymium magnets are placed in a special configuration (magnetic system). Thanks to this, we obtain a very high magnetic field intensity on the rod surface (even up to 14,000 Gauss), which allows for catching the finest metallic contaminants, including dust after machining.

How to clean a magnetic rod from filings?

Iron filings stick very strongly. The easiest way to remove them is by using adhesive tape (stick and peel off) or blowing with compressed air. In industry, special cover tubes (easy clean) are also used.

The distance between bars determines the filtration accuracy. For bulk products and fine contaminants, we recommend tighter spacing.
