Magnetic rods are the basic element of the construction of grates and magnetic filters. They consist of a thin-walled acid-resistant tube, in which strong neodymium magnets are placed in a special configuration (magnetic system). Thanks to this, we obtain a very high magnetic field intensity on the rod surface (even up to 14,000 Gauss), which allows for catching the finest metallic contaminants, including dust after machining.
How to clean a magnetic rod from filings?
Iron filings stick very strongly. The easiest way to remove them is by using adhesive tape (stick and peel off) or blowing with compressed air. In industry, special cover tubes (easy clean) are also used.
Recommended rod spacing in separator
The distance between bars determines the filtration accuracy. For bulk products and fine contaminants, we recommend tighter spacing.
Effectiveness of operation (Test)
Below we present a test of the effectiveness of our separator after 10 minutes of operation in a stream of contaminated raw material.
