Magnetic beams and separation blocks – manufacturer

Magnetic beams (plate separators) are powerful magnetic blocks designed for mounting over conveyor belts, in chutes, or transport channels. Their main task is to catch unwanted steel elements (screws, nails, pieces of machinery) from the transported raw material, thus protecting expensive crushing and grinding machines from failure. As a manufacturer, we make beams in sealed housings made of acid-resistant steel AISI 304 or 316, which allows them to work in difficult conditions (food industry, chemical industry, recycling).

We offer two types of solutions: based on ferrite magnets (deep magnetic field, ideal for catching large pieces of scrap from a greater distance) and neodymium (extremely strong surface field, effective in catching fine filings and wires). Each beam has mounting holes (threaded sleeves), which facilitates its suspension over the belt or screwing to the chute wall. Magnetic beams are maintenance-free and do not require power supply. Cleaning is done manually by moving the collected scrap to the edge of the separator. We manufacture beams of any dimensions, adapted to the width of your conveyor belt.

Frequently asked questions

Start with the size and type of contaminant, the material flow and the working surface. Compare the magnetic-field data and dimensions stated on the selected product card, and check current availability there.

Match the device to the installation dimensions, material flow, cleaning method and housing requirements. A drawing or the dimensions of the transfer point help determine whether a catalogue model fits or a custom version is needed.

Ask for the measured value, the point of measurement and the method or instrument used. A field-strength figure without its measurement conditions cannot be compared reliably with another product.

Check the construction, mounting and cleaning procedure for the chosen beam. Captured metal must be removed regularly; a layer of particles can reduce effective separation even when the magnets themselves are sound.

Check the bearing protection, surface finish and cleaning access of the selected model. Dust accumulation and abrasion depend on the installation, so specify the actual process conditions before choosing a version.

Match the rod diameter and length to the container and material depth, and consider the tool's weight for repeated manual work. Use the dimensions and magnetic data on the current product card.

A built-in rod stays in the process line. A hand-held separator is moved through a material sample or container and then cleaned. It is useful for spot checks or occasional cleanup when permanent installation is not required.

Choose by the point in the process: a grate at a hopper, a beam over a conveyor, a built-in rod in a chute or pipe, or a hand-held tool for spot checks. A magnetic gripper handles steel parts rather than separating contamination.
