How to proceed when receiving a shipment?
Check the package upon delivery: It's best to ensure as soon as possible that the shipment is not damaged or "tampered with." Inspect it upon receipt from the courier. The courier will wait for this verification, and if you suspect damage, do not accept the package.
Look for labels: Damaged packages are usually marked with special company tape with the GLS/InPost logo and branch number. These tapes are applied to packages at sorting centers if they were damaged.
If you notice damage: If you find damage, carefully fill out a damage report with the courier. It's important to specify the type of packaging, such as cardboard, bubble wrap, or foam filler - all this must be accurately described.
Alternative - do not accept the package: If you don't want to deal with formalities related to a damaged shipment, it's best to simply NOT ACCEPT THE PACKAGE. In this case, notify us as the sender so we can resend the shipment. We will handle the claim to avoid burdening our customer.
