How to Handle Package Delivery?
Check the package upon delivery: It's best to quickly ensure that the package shows no signs of damage or tampering. Conduct an inspection upon receipt from the courier. The courier will wait for this verification, so if you have any suspicions, do not accept the package.
Look for markings: Damaged packages are usually marked with a special company tape with the GLS/InPost logo and branch number. These tapes are used to seal packages in sorting centers if they have been damaged.
If you notice damage: If you discover damage, please fill out the damage report together with the courier. It is important to include the type of packaging, such as whether it's cardboard, bubble wrap, or Styrofoam - all of this must be described in detail.
Alternative - do not accept the shipment: If you do not want to deal with the formalities related to a damaged shipment, it is best to simply DO NOT ACCEPT THE PACKAGE. In this case, inform us as the sender so that we can resend the shipment. We will handle the complaint in this situation to avoid inconveniencing our customer.
