Magnetic rollers, also known as magnetic separators, are constructed with neodymium magnets enclosed in a casing made of acid-resistant steel PN:0H18N9 (AISI 304) or PN: 00H17N14M2 (AISI 316L). They are an essential component in the production of independent magnetic separators, forming the magnetic insert in filters. Magnetic separators of this type are used in numerous industrial sectors, most commonly in the food industry and plastic processing, as well as ceramics, whenever there is a need for ferromagnetic separation of powdery and liquid materials.
How to remove iron filings attached to a neodymium magnet (rod, separator)?
They can be easily removed by tapping them with adhesive tape. Another option is to blow them off with a compressor.

The stainless steel housing has a thickness of 1.5mm. It may become thinner due to the hardness of the magnetic substance and contact friction. Although the built-in magnets are permanent magnets, they have been embedded by applying resistive load. Therefore, even if the magnets are used within the specified heat resistance temperature, they may demagnetize over time due to repeated stress associated with fluctuations between hot and cold temperatures. There is no specific replacement period, but we recommend conducting regular tests for magnetic flux density and surface appearance.

The distance between the rods is important during their arrangement. Adjust the processing speed according to your productivity based on the distance between the rods. The distance depends on the type of magnetic substance you want to process and the speed at which you operate.

This will be an accurate filter, and the processing speed for separating magnetic substances will be low.

- In such cases, the roughness of the filter and the processing speed can be improved by using more than 2 layers of magnetic filters.
- If there are multiple layers with narrow spaces between the rods, although the processing speed will be slower, the attraction capacity will increase.
Magnetic Separators (Rollers, Filters) are used to separate metals in food production and recycling.
Our magnetic rollers consist of neodymium magnets placed in a stainless steel housing. They are widely used for removing iron powder during the separation of metals from other waste materials in recycling, food production, and spinning. By using neodymium magnets as a magnetic separator, we prevent metal contaminants (iron scrap or fine iron powder, etc.) from getting into the food. M8 threaded holes are located on both ends, making it easy to mount them on machines (drawers). Choose the external housing, magnetic flux density on the surface, and heat resistance specifications that are suitable for your needs.
