Yes. We make sizes and shapes outside the catalogue, in grades from N27 to N55 and in high-temperature versions. Lead time depends on the shape and batch size — for rings it is 25–35 days.
Which coating should I choose?
NiCuNi is the standard and covers most applications. Zinc is cheaper and suits dry interiors, epoxy suits damp conditions and outdoor use, gold is chosen where appearance matters. An uncoated magnet corrodes in humid air within a few hours.
Will I receive documentation with my order?
Yes. We issue a REACH statement for the article, a declaration of conformity for the packaging under PPWR, and a certificate of measured magnetic parameters. Documents are issued on request, for a specific article or order number.

The plate serves as a base (armature) to which the magnet will attach. After fixing the plate, you gain a place where the magnet will hold just like on a fridge. This enables creating magnetic closures anywhere in the home and office.
Elements are standardized according to metric standard, facilitating selection. Before purchase, check the thread size in your magnetic holder (it is given in the description). Most elements are protected against rust by galvanic zinc.
The cap increases friction (coefficient of friction), preventing the magnet from sliding down a vertical wall. We recommend them for mounting on car bodies to not scratch the paint when removing. However, remember that rubber creates a distance, which slightly reduces perpendicular lifting force.

In addition to their long-term stability, neodymium magnets provide the following advantages:
  • Their power is durable, and after around 10 years it drops only by ~1% (according to research),
  • They have excellent resistance to weakening of magnetic properties as a result of opposing magnetic fields,
  • Thanks to the shiny finish, the plating of Ni-Cu-Ni, gold-plated, or silver gives an professional appearance,
  • Magnets exhibit huge magnetic induction on the outer layer,
  • Due to their durability and thermal resistance, neodymium magnets are capable of operate (depending on the shape) even at high temperatures reaching 230°C or more...
  • Possibility of exact shaping and adjusting to individual needs,
  • Universal use in future technologies – they find application in HDD drives, electric drive systems, medical devices, as well as multitasking production systems.
  • Relatively small size with high pulling force – neodymium magnets offer impressive pulling force in small dimensions, which allows their use in compact constructions

Weaknesses

Cons of neodymium magnets and ways of using them
  • Brittleness is one of their disadvantages. Upon strong impact they can fracture. We recommend keeping them in a strong case, which not only secures them against impacts but also raises their durability
  • We warn that neodymium magnets can reduce their strength at high temperatures. To prevent this, we recommend our specialized [AH] magnets, which work effectively even at 230°C.
  • Due to the susceptibility of magnets to corrosion in a humid environment, we advise using waterproof magnets made of rubber, plastic or other material immune to moisture, in case of application outdoors
  • Limited possibility of creating nuts in the magnet and complex forms - recommended is cover - mounting mechanism.
  • Possible danger related to microscopic parts of magnets can be dangerous, in case of ingestion, which is particularly important in the aspect of protecting the youngest. Furthermore, small components of these products are able to be problematic in diagnostics medical after entering the body.
  • High unit price – neodymium magnets have a higher price than other types of magnets (e.g. ferrite), which increases costs of application in large quantities

Lifting parameters

Breakaway strength of the magnet in ideal conditionswhat it depends on?

The specified lifting capacity refers to the peak performance, recorded under optimal environment, namely:
  • on a plate made of mild steel, effectively closing the magnetic flux
  • with a thickness of at least 10 mm
  • with an polished contact surface
  • with direct contact (no paint)
  • for force applied at a right angle (in the magnet axis)
  • at ambient temperature room level

Magnet lifting force in use – key factors

It is worth knowing that the working load will differ depending on elements below, in order of importance:
  • Space between magnet and steel – even a fraction of a millimeter of distance (caused e.g. by varnish or dirt) significantly weakens the pulling force, often by half at just 0.5 mm.
  • Load vector – maximum parameter is obtained only during perpendicular pulling. The resistance to sliding of the magnet along the surface is standardly many times lower (approx. 1/5 of the lifting capacity).
  • Wall thickness – the thinner the sheet, the weaker the hold. Part of the magnetic field penetrates through instead of converting into lifting capacity.
  • Material composition – not every steel attracts identically. Alloy additives weaken the attraction effect.
  • Surface finish – ideal contact is possible only on polished steel. Rough texture reduce the real contact area, weakening the magnet.
  • Thermal conditions – NdFeB sinters have a negative temperature coefficient. At higher temperatures they are weaker, and at low temperatures they can be stronger (up to a certain limit).

Lifting capacity testing was conducted on plates with a smooth surface of optimal thickness, under a perpendicular pulling force, however under attempts to slide the magnet the holding force is lower. Additionally, even a minimal clearance between the magnet and the plate lowers the lifting capacity.

Safety rules for work with NdFeB magnets
Pinching danger

Pinching hazard: The attraction force is so immense that it can result in hematomas, crushing, and broken bones. Protective gloves are recommended.

Permanent damage

Do not overheat. NdFeB magnets are sensitive to heat. If you need resistance above 80°C, look for special high-temperature series (H, SH, UH).

Shattering risk

Despite metallic appearance, neodymium is delicate and not impact-resistant. Avoid impacts, as the magnet may crumble into sharp, dangerous pieces.

No play value

Adult use only. Small elements can be swallowed, causing severe trauma. Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Precision electronics

Remember: neodymium magnets produce a field that confuses sensitive sensors. Maintain a safe distance from your phone, tablet, and navigation systems.

Medical implants

People with a pacemaker should maintain an safe separation from magnets. The magnetism can stop the functioning of the life-saving device.

Handling guide

Exercise caution. Rare earth magnets act from a distance and snap with huge force, often quicker than you can move away.

Threat to electronics

Do not bring magnets near a purse, laptop, or screen. The magnetism can irreversibly ruin these devices and wipe information from cards.

Dust is flammable

Fire hazard: Neodymium dust is highly flammable. Do not process magnets in home conditions as this risks ignition.
