NdFeB magnets are a key component of modern technology. We supply the highest energy density commercially available. Our offer includes a wide assortment: from miniature 1mm magnets to large industrial magnets. They are used in: electric motors, wind generators, magnetic separators, mounting holders, and audio equipment.ainfo
Properties: Contemporary neodymium magnets achieve energy up to 52 MGOe (N52 grade). The standard operating temperature is up to 80°C, which is sufficient for 90% of applications. For industry, we have materials with increased thermal resistance. Remember: neodyms are hard but brittle – we warn against uncontrolled colliding of magnets.binfo
N38-N42: Industry standard, excellent price-to-power ratio.
N45-N50: Very strong, used in professional holders.
N52: The strongest commercially available magnet grade.
Additional letters at the end (e.g., N42SH) denote temperature resistance (M=100°C, H=120°C, SH=150°C, UH=180°C).
1. Impacts: Neodyms are brittle (it's a ceramic alloy) – colliding two large magnets can cause them to crack.
2. Moisture: If the nickel coating is damaged, the magnet may rust (which is why we recommend our sealed holders for water).
3. Electronics: A strong field can disrupt pacemakers or damage old data carriers.
- Cylindrical magnets (discs) - ideal for sensors, motors, and separators.
- Block magnets (flat plates) - used in furniture, closures, and as holders.
- Ring magnets - excellent for mounting on pipes or shafts.
- Counter-sunk models - have a conical recess, allowing the screw head to fit flush with the magnet surface.
Industry: Metal separators, robotic grippers, generators.
Automotive: Holders, sensors, EV motors.
Advertising: Box closures, banner mounts (invisible fixings).
Home and workshop: Tool hangers, water 'treasure' hunting, water magnetizers.
Modeling: Cowling fixing, figures (miniature magnets).
1. Dimensions: A larger magnet usually means greater lifting capacity, but flat magnets with a large diameter hold better to sheet metal than tall, thin cylinders.
2. Grade (N38, N42, N52): Denotes energy density. An N52 magnet will be approximately 20% stronger than an N35 of the same size.
3. Conditions: For water, we recommend fishing magnets, and for motors, temperature-resistant versions. Use our search engine to find the ideal model.
Low-carbon steel (ordinary iron sheet).
Cast iron.
Nickel and Cobalt.
It does not attract: aluminum, copper, gold, wood, or plastic. Remember: the thicker the steel you apply the magnet to, the more fully you utilize its power. Thin sheet metal (e.g., on a refrigerator) will 'saturate' faster and will not allow 100% utilization of a powerful magnet's lifting capacity.
Water and fuel magnetizers (water softening).
School experiments (levitation, homopolar motors).
Wargames (interchangeable weapons on figures).
Cable organization (magnetic holders under the desk).
