The ideal choice would be neodymium magnets pin designed for magnetic boards, which are characterized by outstanding power of [N38] material when used on a magnetic board, and they stand out in terms of both numerous shades such as black, white, blue, green, orange, purple, red, and multiple size options. Our magnetic pieces feature magnets of the largest possible size in relation to their plastic components, ensuring efficient attachment. The dimensions of the magnets range from smaller ones with an 11 mm diameter to larger ones reaching 29 mm, with heights ranging from 17 mm to 38 mm. Additionally, our pricing policy is flexible depending on the quantity of units ordered, allowing for attractive terms for larger orders.

Advantages and disadvantages of neodymium magnets NdFeB.

Apart from immense power, neodymium magnets have the following advantages:

  • They do not lose their power (of the magnet). After about 10 years, their strength decreases by only ~1% (theoretically),
  • They protect against demagnetization caused by external magnetic field extremely well,
  • In other words, thanks to the shiny nickel, gold, or silver finish, the element gains an visually attractive appearance,
  • They possess very high magnetic induction on the surface of the magnet,
  • Magnetic neodymium magnets are characterized by hugely high magnetic induction on the surface of the magnet and can operate (depending on the shape) even at temperatures of 230°C or higher...
  • Thanks to the flexibility in shaping or the ability to adapt to specific requirements – neodymium magnets can be produced in many variants of shapes and sizes, which amplifies their universality in usage.
  • Wide application in advanced technologically fields – are used in hard drives, electric motors, medical devices or very modern machines.

Disadvantages of neodymium magnets:

  • They can break when subjected to a strong impact. If the magnets are exposed to impacts, we recommend using magnets in a protective case. The steel housing in the form of a holder protects the magnet from impacts, and at the same time increases its overall strength,
  • High temperatures can reduce the strength of neodymium magnets. Typically, after heating above 80°C, most of them experience a permanent reduction in strength (although it is dependent on the form and size). To prevent this, we offer special magnets marked with the symbol [AH], which are highly resistant to high temperatures. They can operate even at temperatures up to 230°C, making them an ideal solution for applications requiring high-temperature operation,
  • Magnets exposed to a humid environment can corrode. Therefore, when using them outdoors, we recommend using waterproof magnets made of rubber, plastic, or other moisture-resistant materials,
  • The use of a cover - a magnetic holder is recommended due to the limited production capabilities of creating threads or complex shapes in the magnet
  • Possible danger to health from tiny fragments of magnets pose a threat, when accidentally ingested, which is particularly important in the context of child safety. Additionally, small elements of these devices are able to be problematic in medical diagnosis after entering the body.

Precautions

Neodymium magnets can demagnetize at high temperatures.

Under specific conditions, Neodymium magnets may experience demagnetization when subjected to high temperatures.

Neodymium magnetic are highly delicate, they easily fall apart as well as can crumble.

Neodymium magnets are delicate and will shatter if allowed to collide with each other, even from a distance of a few centimeters. They are coated with a shiny nickel plating similar to steel, but they are not as hard. In the case of a collision between two magnets, there can be a scattering of small sharp metal fragments in different directions. Protecting your eyes is essential.

Magnets will attract to each other, so remember not to allow them to pinch together without control or place your fingers in their path.

If you have a finger between or on the path of attracting magnets, there may be a serious cut or a fracture.

Dust and powder from neodymium magnets are highly flammable.

Do not attempt to drill into neodymium magnets. Mechanical processing is also not recommended. Once crushed into fine powder or dust, this material becomes highly flammable.

Neodymium magnets are not recommended for people with pacemakers.

In the case of neodymium magnets, there is a strong magnetic field. As a result, it interferes with the operation of a heart pacemaker. Even if the magnetic field does not affect the device, it can damage its components or deactivate the entire device.

Do not place neodymium magnets near a computer HDD, TV, and wallet.

Neodymium magnets produce intense magnetic fields that can destroy magnetic media such as floppy disks, video tapes, HDDs, credit cards, magnetic ID cards, cassette tapes, etc. devices. They can also damage devices like video players, televisions, CRT computer monitors. Do not forget to keep neodymium magnets at a safe distance from these electronic devices.

Neodymium magnets should not be in the vicinity youngest children.

Remember that neodymium magnets are not toys. Do not allow children to play with them. In the case of swallowing multiple magnets simultaneously, they can attract to each other through the intestinal walls. In the worst case scenario, this can lead to death.

Comparing neodymium magnets to ferrite magnets (found in speakers), they are 10 times more powerful, and their strength can surprise you.

To handle magnets properly, it is best to familiarize yourself with our information beforehand. This will help you avoid significant harm to your body and the magnets themselves.

Avoid contact with neodymium magnets if you have a nickel allergy.

Studies show a small percentage of people have allergies to certain metals, including nickel. An allergic reaction often manifests as skin redness and rash. If you have a nickel allergy, try wearing gloves or avoid direct contact with nickel-plated neodymium magnets.

Avoid bringing neodymium magnets close to a phone or GPS.

Neodymium magnets generate intense magnetic fields that interfere with magnetometers and compasses used in navigation, as well as internal compasses of smartphones and GPS devices.

In order for you to know how powerful neodymium magnets are and why they are so dangerous, read the article - Dangerous very strong neodymium magnets.
