The ideal choice would be neodymium magnets pin for magnetic boards, which are characterized by outstanding power of [N38] material when used on a magnetic board, and they stand out in terms of both color variety such as black, white, blue, green, orange, purple, red, and different sizes. Our magnetic pieces feature magnets of optimal size in relation to their plastic components, ensuring efficient attachment. The dimensions of the magnets range from smaller ones with an 11 mm diameter to larger ones reaching 29 mm, with heights ranging from 17 mm to 38 mm. Additionally, our pricing policy adjusts depending on the quantity of units ordered, allowing for favorable wholesale purchases.

Advantages as well as disadvantages of neodymium magnets NdFeB.

Apart from immense power, neodymium magnets have the following advantages:

  • They do not lose strength over time - after approximately 10 years, their strength decreases by only ~1% (theoretically),
  • They are extremely resistant to demagnetization by external magnetic field,
  • By applying a shiny coating of nickel, gold, or silver, the element gains an aesthetic appearance,
  • They have very high magnetic induction on the surface of the magnet,
  • Thanks to their high temperature resistance, they can operate (depending on the form) even at temperatures up to 230°C and above...
  • Thanks to the flexibility in shaping and the ability to adapt to specific requirements – neodymium magnets can be produced in a wide range of shapes and sizes, which enhances their versatility in applications.
  • Significant importance in the industry of new technologies – find application in HDD drives, electric motors, medical devices and various technologically advanced devices.

Disadvantages of neodymium magnets:

  • They can break when subjected to a powerful impact. If the magnets are exposed to impacts, we recommend using magnets in a protective case. The steel housing in the form of a holder protects the magnet from impacts and at the same time increases its overall strength,
  • Magnets lose their power due to exposure to high temperatures. In most cases, when the temperature exceeds 80°C, these magnets experience permanent loss in strength (although it is worth noting that this is dependent on the shape and size of the magnet). To avoid this problem, we offer special magnets marked with the [AH] symbol, which exhibit high temperature resistance. They can operate even at temperatures as high as 230°C or more,
  • They rust in a humid environment - during outdoor use, we recommend using waterproof magnets, such as those made of rubber or plastic,
  • Limited ability to create threads or complex shapes in the magnet - the use of a housing is recommended - magnetic holder
  • Health risk arising from small pieces of magnets can be dangerous, when accidentally ingested, which is particularly important in the context of children's health. It's also worth noting that miniscule components of these products can be problematic in medical diagnosis when they are in the body.

Exercise Caution with Neodymium Magnets

Neodymium magnets can become demagnetized at high temperatures.

Under specific conditions, Neodymium magnets may experience demagnetization when subjected to high temperatures.

If you have a nickel allergy, avoid contact with neodymium magnets.

Studies clearly indicate a small percentage of people who suffer from metal allergies such as nickel. An allergic reaction often manifests as skin redness and rash. If you have a nickel allergy, try wearing gloves or avoid direct contact with nickel-plated neodymium magnets.

Magnets made of neodymium are highly susceptible to damage, leading to breaking.

In the event of a collision between two neodymium magnets, it can result in them getting chipped. Despite being made of metal and coated with a shiny nickel plating, they are not as hard as steel. At the moment of collision between the magnets, tiny sharp metal fragments can be propelled in various directions at high speed. Eye protection is recommended.

Do not place neodymium magnets near a computer HDD, TV, and wallet.

Strong magnetic fields emitted by neodymium magnets can destroy magnetic storage media such as floppy disks, credit cards, magnetic ID cards, cassette tapes, video tapes, or other devices. In addition, they can damage televisions, VCRs, computer monitors, and CRT displays. Avoid placing neodymium magnets in close proximity to electronic devices.

Maintain neodymium magnets away from youngest children.

Not all neodymium magnets are toys, so do not let children play with them. In such a situation, surgery is necessary to remove them. In the worst case scenario, it can result in death.

Neodymium magnets are the strongest magnets ever invented. Their strength can shock you.

Familiarize yourself with our information to correctly handle these magnets and avoid significant injuries to your body and prevent disruption to the magnets.

Neodymium magnets are not recommended for people with pacemakers.

Neodymium magnets generate strong magnetic fields. As a result, they interfere with the operation of a pacemaker. This happens because such devices have a function to deactivate them in a magnetic field.

Dust and powder from neodymium magnets are flammable.

Do not attempt to drill into neodymium magnets. Mechanical processing is also not recommended. Once crushed into fine powder or dust, this material becomes highly flammable.

Neodymium magnets are primarily characterized by their significant internal force. They attract to each other, and any object that comes in their way will be affected.

Magnets may crack or alternatively crumble with uncontrolled joining to each other. You can't approach them to each other. At a distance less than 10 cm you should have them very firmly.

Never bring neodymium magnets close to a phone and GPS.

Magnetic fields interfere with compasses and magnetometers used in navigation for air and sea transport, as well as internal compasses of smartphones and GPS devices.
