They are valued for their extremely powerful magnetic properties, which exceed ordinary ferrite magnets. Because of their strength, they are frequently used in products that require strong adhesion. The standard temperature resistance of these magnets is 80 degrees C, but for cylindrical magnets, this temperature increases with their height. Moreover, various special coatings, such as nickel, gold, or chrome, are often applied to the surface of neodymium magnets to increase their resistance to corrosion.   • They are prone to breaking as they are extremely fragile when subjected to a strong impact. If the magnets are exposed to impacts, it is suggested using magnets in a metal holder. The steel housing in the form of a holder protects the magnet from impacts and also increases its overall strength,
  • Magnets lose their strength due to exposure to high temperatures. In most cases, when the temperature exceeds 80°C, these magnets experience permanent loss in strength (although it is worth noting that this is dependent on the form and size of the magnet). Caution with Neodymium Magnets

Keep neodymium magnets away from GPS and smartphones.

Magnetic fields can interfere with compasses and magnetometers used in aviation and maritime navigation, as well as internal compasses of smartphones and GPS devices. There are neodymium magnets in every smartphone, for example, in the microphone and speakers.

It is crucial not to allow the magnets to pinch together uncontrollably or place your fingers in their path as they attract to each other.

Magnets will crack or crumble with uncontrolled connecting to each other. Remember not to approach them to each other or hold them firmly in hands at a distance less than 10 cm.

The magnet is coated with nickel - be careful if you have an allergy.
